For women, casual work outfits have become a go-to when dressing for the office. And for those of us who enjoy fashion, casual shares no
company with poor style.
Casual work outfits, like any casual style, are those that offer comfort and ease while still displaying a smart and chic look. Those looks
that can take you from your daily office routine to so many other engagements, such as dinner or drinks with friends or a night at the
theatre.
The work outfits I have chosen to share use a minimalist wardrobe, timeless versatile pieces that never date. This approach is both good for
the planet and your bank account!
If you’ve visited my blogs before you may recognise that I’m always sharing minimalist clothing that maintains it appeal and
relevance for long periods of time.
But a minimalist wardrobe is also valuable because of its versatility. The option to mix so many different pieces to create new ideas, both
office outfits and ones for your social life.
Again, this is great for both the environment and your budget, as you’ll see so many outfits you can create with what you already
have, rather than feeling the need to buy more.
The smart casual work outfits I’ve shared here are a combination of relaxed pieces such as jeans and knitwear paired with more formal
pieces including heels, tailored pants, and blazers. A chic outfit formula.
And of course, for many when dressing in the morning, finding new ideas for casual outfits for the office can be tricky and

If you’re a regular visitor to my blog or follow me on Instagram, you may know that my focus is on
making our wardrobes more sustainable, more ethical. I share ideas and brands to support both.
But you may also notice that some of the pieces I share in my blog, don’t rank well when it comes to their sustainability. I do this
because I recognise that for some people it’s very hard to buy more expensive pieces of clothing that have a better ranking.
So when I share fashion that's not where it should be in terms of quality, sustainability, and ethics, I only share pieces that
are minimalist in style and not based on short-term trends. Therefore, these pieces will continue to serve well in your wardrobe.
This isn’t as good as buying sustainable fashion, but it’s certainly better than heading for on-trend items that quickly stop
appealing to you, and potentially end up as waste.
